The New Damnwells Album came out.
If you've been on the main BaaB site, you've probably seen the download link for the Damnwells CD. Being the Music guy, It's part of my job to review things like that. I think that the soundtrack is good. Some songs, I would have tweaked a little, but that's just the music major over-analyzing everything. Overall, very impressive. I particularly liked the first song, Soundtrack. The guitar in the background was very soothing. Check it out!
What's Happening With DSU Music
September 25th Real Men Sing! 2009
All men ranging from 7th to College age get together for a day of singing just for men! This event is in it's first year and has a pretty good turn out, with 3 college students and 30 7-12 students. This event is not just limited to Students however, as any man with a love of singing is encouraged to participate. This event goes from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with a 'concert' at 3:30. Participation fee is 15 dollars which includes music, lunch, and a free T-shirt. If you can't come to the rehearsal, come enjoy the music at the concert!
Also: Be on the lookout for the concerts that are starting in local schools. These kids work hard to prepare, so make time to appreciate the music!
